The NFL world may be seeing more of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos in the upcoming days. The multi-billionaire has been popping up in conversations within the NFL World in the last few days.

Bezos has reportedly shown interest in acquiring the Washington Commanders. This may not be the most usual acquisition since Bezos also owns the Washington Post. Bezos did not dismiss the rumours outright. He said, ‘I grew up in Houston, Texas, and I played football growing up as a kid … and it is my favorite sport … so we’ll just have to wait and see.’

Bezos could reportedly place a bid for the Commanders alongside other big names like Jay-Z and Matthew McConaughey.

The Washington Commanders are currently at 4-5. They are ranked behind the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys in a frighteningly competitive NFC East. The Commanders will take on the mighty Eagles in their next bout.
