A terrifying injury to Isaiah Bolden, a rookie cornerback for the New England Patriots, brought an early end to their preseason game against the Green Bay Packers. Bolden was hit in the side of the helmet by his own teammate while trying to stop a Packers player. He fell to the ground and did not move for several minutes.

The coaches of both teams, Matt LaFleur and Bill Belichick, agreed to suspend the game out of respect for Bolden. Referee John Hussey announced the decision to the fans at Lambeau Field around 10:00 p.m. local time.
