Only it’s not the Lamar Jackson that comes to mind almost instantaneously. The Broncos added former Chicago Bears’ defensive back Lamar Jackson to the team. NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero’s tweet may have caused fans to drop more than a few expletives.
The Broncos acquire Lamar Jackson before they face Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens.
Pelissero’s tweet said, “Lamar Jackson is joining the [Broncos]. Jackson, the former [Bears] defensive back, cleared waivers and is signing with Denver’s practice squad, per source. Lamar Jackson’s new team faces Lamar Jackson and the [Ravens] on Sunday.“ The negative space dividing the first line and the line mentioning which Jackson is being spoken about is sure to have stirred panic in the minds of Ravens fans.
To make things even more interesting, the last line of Pelissero’s tweet is confusing enough to make a person pinch themselves awake to see if they’ve misread it. Lamar Jackson’s new team will take on Lamar Jackson’s Baltimore Ravens. That’s a more roundabout way of saying that the Broncos will take on the Ravens.
NFL World reacts in bewilderment
The NFL world had to take a second to recover from the momentary shock they faced. NFL Insider reacted to Pelissero’s tweet with only one word that carried the weight of the emotions he felt.
Tom.

This user has a very confusing question
So what if Lamar Jackson throws an interception to Lamar Jackson, who is then tackled by Lamar Jackson, who forces a fumbles then recovered by Lamar Jackson?

Another user makes a very plausible game prediction
Yeah but I feel like Lamar Jackson’s team’ll beat Lamar Jackson’s team at the end of the day

Here’s a tweet that is capable of inducing a headache.
Can Lamar Jackson have a game where he beats Lamar Jackson like Josh Allen beat Josh Allen that one time?

The timing of this tweet is truly remarkable. With the acquisition of Jackson, the defensive back, the Bears could potentially put him to good use against the Ravens. The Broncos are having a season they would want to forget. Currently, at 3-8, they sit at the bottom of the AFC West behind the Kansas City Chiefs, LA Chargers, and the Las Vegas Raiders.

With their acquisition of quarterback Russell Wilson not panning out as planned, the Broncos will try whatever they can to get some wins. The Ravens, on the other hand, are tied with the Cincinnati Bengals atop the AFC North. They will look for every opportunity to get ahead of their divisional rivals.
