The concern rose when Tua Tagovailoa sustained brutal hits, which became an ever-growing concern. The worry came over JuJu Smith-Schuster, who got off the game after a vicious head hit. The situation left Brittany Matthews infuriated. But the NFL fanbase was in splits over her concerns.

The moment arose during the Chiefs-Jaguars game when JuJu Smith-Schuster fell prey to a vicious hit to the head. Patrick Mahomes connected with the WR with a pass at the center of the field. However, as he drove forward, Smith-Schuster got hit in the head by Jaguars’ Andre Cisco. Following the collision, the trainers had to take the Chiefs WR off the game, and he did not return to the field.

Brittany Matthews’ stance left the NFL world divided

The referees flagged Andre Cisco, but the lack of ejection certainly fazed Patrick Mahomes‘ wife. Brittany Matthews vented her frustration over Twitter.

However, the NFL Universe stood divided over Mrs. Mahomes’ stance.

JuJu Smith-Schuster is under concussion protocol

The Chiefs picked the winning sweep over the Jaguars. However, it came with a substantial loss for them. JuJu Smith-Schuster got hit hard by Andre Cisco. The WR remained on the ground as trainers arrived to aid him. Smith-Schuster was put in concussion protocol, which held him out for the rest of the game.

Coach Andy Reid stated after the game that the referees should have held the Jaguars responsible for the strike. From where he stood, the HC noticed the head contact. And he’s not the one making a choice.

It is yet to see if JuJu Smith-Schuster can bounce back before the Chiefs-Chargers game.
