The Eagles were outplayed on the field and were handed the first loss of this season. Before this victory, the Commanders were at 4-5. Although, an officiating error during the game may have caused a different result altogether.
Regardless, the Eagles now stand at 8-1. Jalen Hurts opened up post the Eagles’ loss. The Eagles quarterback made some statements after their defeat.
Hurts said, “I think in the end it’s about how you respond, regardless of what’s in front of you. How do you respond to this scenario, how do you respond to that scenario, how do you respond to the joy, the feeling of you, how do you respond to the feeling of pain, I’ve got a good feeling how we respond [sic] “
Hurts’ statements seemed level-headed with a positive note despite the palpable disappointment caused by the loss.

Another user is glad the Eagles don’t have the pressure of being undefeated.
We were due for a loss anyways. Can’t win them all. Plus we would have won if it wasn’t for that missed face mask and that fluke fumble in the 4th. At least we get being undefeated out of the way. Now the guys can play more loose without that monkey on their back. Go Eagles 🦅
