The San Francisco 49ers and the Miami Dolphins have a big game coming up against each other. Prior to the game, the running back of the Dolphins, Raheem Mostert sent out a tweet.

His tweets got some intense reactions from fans of both teams. Additionally, a 49er that he’ll be facing also tweeted a message that might have seemed like a response. Fans reacted to this tweet as well.

Fans react to Raheem Mostert

Raheem Mostert angrily commented on a clickbait title that showcased that he had berated his ex-quarterback. In reality, the running back was praising the talent of his current quarterback. He clarified that he was not making any comments about his ex-teammates.

However, his ex-teammates had already fired off tweets against Mostert’s initial-supposed tweet. Fans of both, the 49ers as well the Dolphins reacted to these tweets. One fan reacted in support of Mostert’s tweet and said.

However, there was a fan who berated Mostert and said.

Furthermore, fans thought he was disrespecting his former quarterback and said.

Similarly, Mostert’s ex-teammates, Deebo Samuel and Charles Omenihu, both tweeted reactions. The 49ers replied with digs of their own. These digs had reactions from the fans as well. While the digs weren’t as severe, the fan reactions were intense. Some of the fans, who were in support of Mostert, tweeted on Samuel’s tweet and said.

However, some of Samuel’s supporters tweeted in the player’s support.

Fans also commented on the root of the problem, the quarterback comparison.

Similarly, fans commented on Charles Omenihu’s tweet as well. While Omenihu’s tweet was not as direct as Samuel’s, fans still made inferences from it. One fan tweeted about how the Dolphins’ quarterback is going to play against the 49ers.

A fan also commented regarding the futility of the reply to Mostert.

There was also a sarcastic comment talking about the renewal of the rivalry between the two teams.

While both the teams’ players have been going at it on Twitter, the fans of both teams also have made their stances clear.

Mostert vs. the 49ers

Mostert was previously a part of the San Franciso 49ers.  In his season of 2021, he played just 1 game. However, in his 2020 season, Mostert had a whopping 104 ATT in just 8 games. He had a consistent record when he played with the 49ers.

While Mostert might not have meant anything by his comment, it has sparked controversy and friction among the fans. With the game inching closer day by day, the fans of both teams are ready to support their teams. The question that remains is which team will come out on top as the victor?
