New England Patriots want a first-round pick in exchange for Stephon Gilmore
After speaking with a few GMs around the NFL, I've learned multiple teams who have called the Patriots about CB Stephon Gilmore were told by New England they want a first round pick and a player in exchange for the 2019 AP Defensive Player of the Year.

NFL reporter Dianna Russini put out the above tweet as rumors continue to gather pace. As per reports, Bill Belichick and the Patriots are demanding a first-round pick in exchange for the 30-year-old cornerback. There are multiple teams that have already enquired about a potential trade deal for Stephon Gilmore.
Before joining the Patriots, the former South Carolina man spent 4 years with the Buffalo Bills. Gilmore was a first-round draft pick in 2012 (10th overall).

He has made the Pro Bowl team on 3 occasions. He was also voted as the NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 2019. Gilmore was also given the honor to be included in the Madden NFL 21 Elite 99 gang alongside the likes of Patrick Mahomes, Christian McCaffrey, Aaron Donald, and Michael Thomas.

However, the highly rated NFL cornerback has been performing at a mediocre level over the course of the 2020 NFL season. Gilmore registered a total of 20 tackles, defended 2 passes, and has 1 interception across 6 games this season. He received a mediocre 61.0 overall grade from Pro Football Focus.
