It is always a horrible experience for any person when there is a malfunctioning vehicle at hand. Moreover, a car crash could sometimes even lead to death of the driver. A similar incident happened recently with an NFL star as his car got into flames.

NFL star has a deadly experience on the freeway

As shared on Twitter by @barstoolsports, Former Super Bowl champion, Leonard Fournette nearly lost his life when his car went up into flames. The whole incident happened on I-275 Tampa Bay. The 28 year old star turned out to be safe. The Florida highway patrol who took over the situation extinguished the erupting flames and the situation was finally brought under control. It was a mechanical or technical fault that initiated the disaster and not the crash.

Leonard Fournette took the whole issue online and he posted a video on his social media where his car appeared all black after being burned. He quoted the post with these words, “Man it was one of those days today, but I would like thank God, my car caught on fire while I was driving, But I’am still blessed 🙏❤️”

It is a blessing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneer’s running back to survive the crash, however not every NFL star has the same stars in their luck.

NFL player who lost his life in a CAR crash

Jeff Gladney, who played for the Arizona Cardinals, lost his life in a car crash that happened in May 2022. According to the reports, Gladney lost the controls of his vehicle. His car went into the grass area, it fumbled and finally hit a bridge which led to the demise of the Arizona cornerback. Gladney was 25 at the time of his death which made it even more harsh on the fans who loved and supported him. He would have turned into a great NFL star if he was still alive.
