The 49ers quarterback made quite a few headlines last year after the release of his Netflix documentary ‘Colin in Black & White’. As far as his return to top-tier football is concerned, the NFL world is a little doubtful if Colin Kaepernick will be able to play at his former level. Kaepernick still holds the NFL post-season single-game rushing yards record by a quarterback (264). However, he hasn’t thrown a ball in more than 5 years since January 1, 2017. And it’s not just his on-field form that franchises are weary of. The owners are doubtful about the distractions and media circus that follows the 35-year-old QB.
