It’s been a great start to the 2020 NFL season for the Seattle Seahawks. Quarterback Russell Wilson has been in terrific form, having led his side to back-to-back wins over Atlanta Falcons and New England Patriots. They go up against Dallas Cowboys at the CenturyLink Field on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Mike McCarthy’s side bounced back from an opening weekend loss to Los Angeles Rams with a thrilling 40-39 win over the Falcons in front of their home fans. They will look to build on that win moving forward as they aim to make the Playoffs this year.

Here’s a detailed look at both teams, along with injury updates and Week Three matchday predictions.

Seattle Seahawks vs Dallas Cowboys Preview

Dallas Cowboys eager to build on last week’s win over the Falcons

Dallas Cowboys fans must’ve had a sleepless night last Sunday after their team’s epic win over the Falcons. The Cowboys trailed by a 29-10 scoreline at halftime against the Falcons.

They fought back in the fourth quarter to secure a massive 40-39 win in their first home game of the season. Coach Mike McCarthy was adamant that a win such as that was exactly what his team needed ahead of the Seahawks game.

The likes of CeeDee Lamb, Michael Gallup, Amari Cooper, and Ezekiel Elliott all had a good outing last weekend. However, the Cowboys have quite a few injuries to their defensive players. Let’s hope the backup squad can step up and thwart the Seahawks offense tonight.

Seattle Seahawks’ Russell Wilson en route to NFL MVP award?

Russell Wilson is easily the best NFL quarterback at the moment. He boasts an 82.5% pass completion percentage after two weeks. He has combined effectively with WRs DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, and other offensive players.

Head Coach Pete Carroll will back his superstar shot-caller to cause all sorts of problems for the Cowboys defense on their home turf this evening.

The Seahawks will be without DE Rasheem Green, who is out with a neck injury. Summer recruit Jamal Adams, along with Quinton Dunbar, Bobby Wagner, and Ugo Amadi will share the defensive load amongst themselves for today’s game.

Despite their epic win at the AT&T Stadium last weekend, we reckon the Seahawks will still outplay the Cowboys on Sunday. Coach Carroll will rely on Russell Wilson to give his side that attacking threat. However, their two talented wideouts will also cause problems for the Cowboys at the CenturyLink Field.
