According to reports from TMZ, Omenihu was arrested on a charge of domestic violence. It is reported that the DE allegedly got into an altercation with his girlfriend. The San Jose Police Department reportedly arrived at the scene where his significant other stated that Omenihu pushed her to the ground. The incident is said to have occurred while they were arguing.
According to the police, Omenihu’s girlfriend was not visibly injured but did have pain in her arm. She reportedly declined medical assistance. The Niners star was contacted and consequently arrested. TMZ reports that an emergency restraining order was issued against the defensive end. Although he was booked for the reported offense, the 25-year-old made bail.
