Shannon Sharpe said, “I do believe he needs to be the second quarterback. You’re not gonna keep because the third quarterback is probably more times than not gonna dress. And you’re not going to need Colin Kaepernick as your third quarterback.”
He further added, “You could take this undrafted guy. You can take a Nick Mullins and let him be the Scout team guy. So for me, Kap hopefully, he has a great day throwing. Hopefully, he shows that you know what I still got it. They bring him to camp. He can knock some of the rust off…”
Although Kaepernick has been away from the football field for 5-years, the three-time Super Bowl champion thinks he has a shot at being the Raider’s 2nd quarterback.
For the Raiders, Nick Mullins, as a backup, has shown an average performance. However, Colin could fill in the role pretty well. Kaepernick has had a great workout session with the Raiders, and there is a possibility he has impressed Mark Davis. Now, the coming days will display what will be of the former Niners QB.
