Chad Johnson, aka. Ochocinco recently interviewed Colin Kaepernick in the latest episode of I AM ATHLETE alongside other co-hosts. That interview solely focused on how Colin Kaepernick has been committed to making a return to the league to win the championship. However, to everyone’s surprise, it was the interviewer who might get a possible ticket to the Cincinnati Bengals roster.

Colin Kaepernick during the interview pointed out how no franchise has provided him the opportunity to work out and make the roster. He has been so desperate that he would also accept a role as a backup QB even though having the QB1 caliber. While on the other hand, the six-time Pro Bowler Chad Johnson, who played with the Cincinnati Bengals for a decade, is already making his fair share of progress.

Ochocinco on Instagram made a comment in a post shared by the Cincinnati Bengals featuring him, pitching an offer to the franchise. “Can i come back & play, i don’t need a contract, i still have 82% of my career earnings being cheap throughout the years, i just want to play DB & cover Tee, Chase & Boyd in training camp, you can cut me before the season starts, deal?” the comment read.

However, what started as a hilarious reply on social media, started to become a dream offer for Ocho. “@ochocinco We’ll pass along your information. Please send us some tape at your earliest convenience,” the Bengals replied to the comment.

Ocho has been inactive since 2017. He last played for the Monterrey Fundidores, but never had the opportunity to return to the NFL ever since.
