The Dallas Cowboys have been in the news lately. The Dallas Star for Odell Beckham Jr.?
Odell Beckham Jr. has been one of the most entertaining players to have taken the football field. He has made his presence felt in the league for the last eight years in many ways. With his one-handed grabs, his catchy touchdown celebrations, weaving through defense lines, and being a fashion statement, OBJ has provided NFL fans with it all. While he was at it, he consistently put up the numbers, too. The OBJ brand of football has even created a niche fan following for the sport.
As the superstar closes in on his return post-injury, there are many speculations about his future. The current free agent has all franchise owners working the extra hours as the guy with the biggest paycheck for him is most likely to bring the wide receiver home. Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones hasn’t shied away from claiming himself to be a fan of Beckham.“A talent like Beckham is additive. It stacks on top of — we think a lot of what CeeDee is capable of being for this team,” said Jones about OBJ, as per Ian Rapoport.
CeeDee Lamb went off in the Cowboys’ loss to the Packers. However, that wasn’t enough for the owner to move his eyes past Odell Beckham Jr. This statement of his came shortly after he had already expressed an interest in him a week earlier.

Beckham is not only an asset for a team on the field, but his brand is good for attracting more eyeballs and for the merchandise too. No wonder Jerry Jones is drooling all over the man right now and buttering him up whenever he can.
The wide receiver began his illustrious NFL career with the Giants. With the Giants, Beckham was recognized as Offensive Rookie of the Year. He announced his arrival to the league in pure Odell Beckham style, as he was his flashy self, right from the get-go. After five years in New York, Odell was traded to Cleveland. In a blockbuster deal, Odell Beckham Jr. joined the Browns as the Cleveland team looked like a force on offense with his addition. Unfortunately for the wide receiver, things didn’t really click in Ohio. He had an ACL injury and then issues with quarterback Baker Mayfield saw his exit to Los Angeles. The Rams pounced on the opportunity with OBJ and secured a Superbowl with the star man.
