Last Wednesday, he gave a brief stint in the franchise’s training session showcasing his throwing skills and toughness in front of the coaches. During a recent interaction, Garafolo revealed that the quarterback might sign a contract with the Raiders for the upcoming 2022 season. When asked about Kaepernick’s roster status, he said,

“I’ll say yes, and I think it may very well be the Raiders”. Garofalo also mentioned the reason behind the Raiders not offering him a contract yet. “The fact that they didn’t tell him immediately is not necessarily an indication that they have moved on. It’s more about let’s see where this goes. Let’s see our roster. Let’s see where else he winds up working out there. That can be a factor as well, but I’ll say yes, and likely in Las Vegas.” he added to his statements.
