The Packers wisely used the 2022 NFL Draft to select young WR Christian Watson, who shows great promise for the future.

During NFL Insider Ian Rapoport’s appearance on the Pat McAfee podcast, he states, “I think the Packers are gonna be involved in this market. And this is a great WR market for them because let’s say, Jarvis Landry, maybe even Julio Jones, and you are not gonna get $10 million or $15 million. Packers would be one of those teams you wanna join.

Rapoport believes that while they will receive minor payment contracts with incentives, there will be added motivation for competing for a Super Bowl title. Even free agent Super Bowl champion Odell Beckham Jr could end up at the Frozen Tundra. The excitement among Packers fans will be through the roof in the upcoming weeks with expectations of superstar signings. While there’s also a section of the fans who believes the current WR roster along with incoming draftees will be enough for Rodgers. Packers’ next moves will showcase what the franchise thinks on the issue.

Can Green Bay Packers contend with the addition of a superstar WR?

While they have moves to make for their WR department, the Packers still possess one of the best teams in the NFC conference. They still have one of the top QBs and reigning league MVP Aaron Rodgers on their roster. Though there are some concerns about the LB and CB position depths, the franchise will be moving to bring veteran players.
