Just prior to the game between the New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons, there was an injury on the field. The defensive coordinator of the Flacons was seen immobilized and carried off the field on a stretcher. He was reportedly injured while being on the field with his team during the pre-game practice. After his injury, he was rushed to the nearest medical center.
NFL fans on Twitter had varying messages for the coach. The tweets varied from supportive as well as negative. The words from the fans came after the Falcons released an official statement.

As soon as NFL fans caught wind of this injury, they began to react on Twitter. There were messages that ranged from wishing a speedy recovery to just plain sarcastic comments on Twitter.

All in all, the NFL fanbase had a great amount of support for the coach after he was injured. For the game against the Saints, the interim defensive play caller was Frank Bush.

Falcons on the injury
Shortly after the incident, Falcons reported the condition of the coach. The coach was rushed to the medical center for testing. After the pre-game altercation, it was found that he was stable, alert, and responsive, per The Falcons Wire. The collision that caused them to rush the DC to the medical center was between the coach and an unidentified New Orleans Saints player.
Hence, the main defensive coordinator of the team is out for now. The question that remains is how will the Atlanta Falcons’ defense fare now?
