NFL GOAT Tom Brady retired earlier this year from professional football. But he pushed his commitments to the booth to next year, as he wants to relax and take it slow in 2023 after 23 illustrious seasons in the league. However, a recent statement made by Andrew Marchand of the New York Post has put a cloud of doubt over Brady’s future as a lead analyst. 

Amidst the new revelations, the NFL world has its own hilarious reactions to TB12’s future. Even the GOAT himself has come forward, expressing these rumors as ‘Fake News’.

Marchand is not fully confident about Tom Brady taking up the role of lead analyst

During the latest episode of The Marchand and Ourand Sports media Podcast, the journalist pointed toward the possibility of the GOAT walking away from his 10-year $375 million FOX deal. Marchand made a comment stating that he is unsure whether Tom Brady will travel for his role as a lead analyst. He said, “I’ve talked to a couple of people recently close to Brady and I kind of feel like I’m going more  49 percent chance that he does it, 51 percent chance he doesn’t.” After Brady’s divorce from ex-wife Gisele Bundchen, they both now co-parent their kids to provide them with the best future. After football, Brady has been dedicating his time to his kids, keeping them at the top of the priority list.

Brady signed the lucrative deal with the network back in 2022. It came as a surprise to the NFL world, as he made the announcement two months after his comeback from retirement for a last season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He then went on to state that he will begin his tenure in the booth in 2024, as he is currently taking the year off to focus on more personal aspects of his life, including his children. Questions emerged about Brady having the right personality for a career in broadcasting. After Marchand’s latest reports, fans had their own take on the possibility of Brady reconsidering his decision, as he also came forward to label the rumors as false news.

Taking a cue from Andrew Marchand’s reports, Sports Illustrated recently shared a post that states that the 7X Super Bowl Champion might be re-considering his options as he settles for life after football. The 45-year-old is currently spending time with his family, mostly with his three children.

 

 While Brady came up to comment on the post as “Fake News”, fans had their own hilarious responses to the reports that questions Brady’s professional future.

While Brady might have called the rumors fake, one can only wait until 2024 to see if the GOAT dons the hat of a lead analyst for the FOX network.
