Ben Fawkes of ‘VSIN The Sports Betting Network’ disclosed the news recently, stating that a fan from the city won the bet. Moreover, he also released the wagers list placed by the customer to watch.

And guess what, the Buccaneers, Packers, or the Chiefs were not on the list. Just like how unique the combinations were, Week 6 results turned out similar to what this fan had predicted.

Last year betting was not allowed in New York, but rules have changed as per the recent updates. Since January, it has been legalized. From a fan’s perspective, it was a shocking week with favorites struggling to convert their games. On one hand, the Buccaneers lost to the Steelers, and Aaron Rodgers and Co registered an unexpected defeat against the Jets.

Although in-person wagers are still not allowed, the NFL has started nodding for online legalized betting. In fact, the league has allowed betting commercials to air during game broadcasts. However, there is a limit to showcasing such activities.

“I think it’s great for our fans, and it’ll be great for the NFL ultimately and our partners because what it will do is create more engagement,” Goodell said about sports betting in an interview last year.

“It will be somewhat like what fantasy football was for us in the ’90s and has been over the last several decades, but this will be an even more immersive experience,” he added. Pro football is an ever-evolving game. While the athletes are reaping benefits from it, the fans have also started finding ways to fill their pockets.
