This Week, the Green Bay Packers will play their first-ever regular-season international game against the New York Giants in London. The game will be held at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to give the fans a unique experience from a foreign country.
Ahead of the clash, Commissioner Roger Goodell addressed the media and spoke about various ambitious projects to be carried out in Europe. His talks even extended to the agenda that the league was hoping to find two new franchises which could potentially become a division in the future.

“There’s no question that London could support not just one franchise, I think two franchises. I really believe that,” he told the reporters. Meanwhile, this exciting plan forced Neil Reynolds to suggest setting up a new division instead.
Because Europe already owns two NFL-ready stadiums and adding two more to the list is no biggie. “That’s part of what we’re doing, right?” Goodell said.
“We’re trying to sort of see, could you have multiple locations in Europe where you could have an NFL franchise? Because it would be easier as a division,” he added to his explanation.

Indeed, if this project comes to fruition, it will be a great achievement for the league. This will open a new dimension and a larger fan following for the sport.
How did the NFL world react to Roger Goodell and his ambitious remarks?
Although this project seems viable on paper, it has plenty of challenges. First of all, the execution and scheduling of the games for those four teams. Secondly, the travel issues and frequent cross-Atlantic travel might prove cumbersome at one point.
One of the fans believes that it would create logistical constraints.

However, this fan believes scheduling games might create problems.
Honestly, England would love this but I don't think it works for a schedule basis. Maybe 2 weeks-4 weeks for certian teams?

Another fan said the change in the current routine might hamper the integrity of the sport.
As a fan in the UK, just keep it the way it is. We love the few games per season we got. Every fan over here has a team and wouldn't change allegiance.

This fan had another suggestion for the authorities.
This'd be a severe disadvantage to these 4 franchises. Whilst I get expanding internationally, you could do that for Canada or Mexico and try and reach those markets more instead of trying to force them to cross back and forth 5000 miles every week.
