The dreadful effects of the Coronavirus still affect the lives of many people. The hideous virus has forced the NFL to reschedule three upcoming games to next week, and it is going to cause many people a lot of problems.

The stadium staff is going to have trouble while doing their work. The fans who were excited to see their teams will have to wait. The fans who were to travel from different states, now forced to reschedule their flights and hotel bookings. It looks like it will be an expensive ordeal for NFL fans and organizers.

Which games have been rescheduled?

The NFL rescheduled the Saturday night game between the Las Vegas Raiders and the Cleveland Browns to Monday. They have also moved the Seattle Seahawks and the Los Angeles Rams from Sunday to Tuesday. And the match between the Washington Football Team and Philadelphia Eagles Also shares the same fate.

The WFT and Eagles game will kick off at 7 p.m. EST on Tuesday. On Monday, Browns and Raiders will kick off at 5 p.m. EST. The Rams and Seahawks will kick off at 7 p.m. on Tuesday as well. Fox will televise the games on both days. The NFL Network will also stream and televise these matches.

Fans who have already booked their tickets will be allowed to enter the rescheduled matches. This change can be hectic for many people. But it is necessary for the safety of fans and players. The Coronavirus can’t be taken lightly. We still need to take all the steps to prevent it from spreading.

The statement released by the NFL

“We have made these schedule changes based on medical advice and after discussion with the NFLPA as we are seeing a new, highly transmissible form of the virus this week resulting in a substantial increase in cases across the league,” these new changes occurred because of the highly transmissible nature of the virus. The number of positive results was high all across the league. They also said, “We continue to make decisions in consultation with medical experts to ensure the health and safety of the NFL community.”

Previously the games were going to be played on the said date. Considering the safety of everyone, these matches are better rescheduled.
