This past Sunday, the Green Bay Packers faced off against the Los Angeles Rams, and they beat the Rams by 36-28. The game had some remarkable moments. Fox Sports announcer Joe Buck was calling the action. During the Packers’ first play, as quarterback Aaron Rodgers was about to throw the ball, Joe Buck dropped a hilarious one-liner on the QB.

Joe Buck’s “Immunized” joke
Buck’s partner, Fox reporter Erin Andrews, provided the audience some background on Rodgers’ injury. He was talking about how the Quarterback is playing with a fractured toe.
Andrews also told us about the pain-killing injection Rodgers took so that he could play on Sunday. Erin said, “Today, he took a pain-killing injection pregame where he said he can only feel nine toes. He told us his play will not be limited.”
Seeing the opportunity, Joe Buck jumped in on it. Without wasting a second, he delivered a punchline that knocked Aaron Rodgers’ broken toe out. “So Aaron is telling us that he’s had that toe immunized against the pain,” said Buck.
Broadcasters casually report Aaron Rodgers took a painkilling shot for his pinkie toe. No mention of the irony that he won’t take a Covid shot.

The term “Immunized” is going to be a part of the NFL lore for a little while. You can blame Joe Buck and Aaron Rodgers for it. Green Bay Packers star quarterback made headlines when he used the word “Immunized” to avoid getting vaccinated.
Things only went downhill from there when Rodgers complained about the “woke mob.” He even cited Martin Luther King in an interview on ‘The Pat McAfee show.’

Rodgers has recently been in the spotlight and not for the right reasons. After refusing to get vaccinated and hurting his toe, Rodgers has been the laughingstock of the football world.
He has referred to his fractured toe as ‘COVID toe’. Rodgers missed week 9 after testing positive for COVID-19. He had to sit out for 10 days. Being unvaccinated did not help his case as well.

During that time, a mysterious toe injury occurred out of nowhere. Rodgers described it vaguely as a Covid related injury before giving it the infamous name of ‘Covid toe’.
