During his appearance on the Good Morning Football show, the former Assistant GM of the Falcons, Scott Pioli heaped praises on the 49ers quarterback.

Talking about the 49ers, he said, “They are still contenders, the reason they are a contender is when you have a  head coach like Kyle Shanahan, who to me is one of the top 5 in the NFL, as similar to Bill Belichick as I’ve seen in a head coach or just a coach, you are going to be in contention.”

Scott believes that Kyle can become one of the legendary coaches of the NFL, just like Bill Belichick. However, he will have some work to do in the upcoming season, as the 49ers will look to move on from some familiar faces.

The San Francisco 49ers have already declared that Trey Lance will be the starting quarterback for them in the next season. He will replace Jimmy G, who has been rumored to be on his way out.
