“Defensively, we just couldn’t get off the field on third down. We had our opportunities. Give them [Cowboys] credit, they were efficient,” Saleh exclaimed. Per coach, the Cowboys were ahead of the chains, and when Jets players did catch them in third and long situations, they were still able to capitalize. Nevertheless, HC had to answer another query, Was Zach Wilson’s performance under duress?

Saleh praised Wilson’s execution of a crucial strike route to Garrett Wilson for a pivotal touchdown. He cautioned about the challenge of a drop-back game against such a formidable opponent, “Like I said, that team, when you have to get into a drop-back game with those guys consistently, it’s not, it’s not gonna be pretty.”
