NFL fans wait all year for the game to start. But then sometimes injury can completely mar their season, by rendering players unable to participate in the game.  This is the case for all 32 teams, including the Jets. Another litmus test is currently underway for the team, which is now without Aaron Rodgers due to injury. The injury report has just been released by Jets officials.

The Jets recently released a report on all injured players before their battle against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 2. The practice report indicates how much each player participated in practice during the week, the type of injury they have, if any, and their final status for the game.

Zach Wilson wasn’t sure he would be on the front foot so early to take the QB1 charge, especially after Rodgers tore his Achilles tendon. However, all the learning and fun with the 39-year-old veteran Rodgers was like calmness while watching them on national TV on ‘Hard Knock.’ Zach might be emotional but is set to start yet again for the Cowboys showdown.

To make the Jets fly high in the sky, Coach Robert Saleh needs no more injuries in the final roster. So, what’s the status of their roster injury report amid their Super Bowl journey? The Jets’ list includes four players on the injury list.

First, Duane Brown returned to Jets practice this week after undergoing surgery to repair his left shoulder in the offseason. Duane Brown is a left tackle with a shoulder injury. He had limited participation on Wednesday and Thursday but had full participation on Friday, which is good news for the Jets.

After the New York Jets’ 32-24 preseason victory over the New York Giants, Jets head coach Robert Saleh designated Mekhi Becton as the starting right tackle for Week 1. However, Becton has a knee injury. He had limited participation on Wednesday and Thursday but had full participation on Friday.

Then there’s young 22-year-old Breece Hall, a running back with a knee injury. He had limited participation on Wednesday and Thursday but had full participation on Friday. Veteran 35-year-old Greg Zuerlein is a kicker with a groin injury. He did not practice on Friday, so there’s suspense regarding his availability.

The Jets’ injury report mentions that all these players are in a ‘Questionable’ position to play their next game, which means they have a 50% chance of playing only.

In preseason games to warm up before kick-offs, one of the games against the Giants went viral as it was Aaron Rodgers’ first-ever game for the Jets officially, and Giants edge defender Jihad Ward engaged in a back-and-forth trash-talking with Rodgers.
