The New York Giants on the field have simply been dismal so far. With only 4 wins in 14 matches, a playoff qualification seems unlikely. On the other hand, their opponents Philadelphia Eagles themselves aren’t in a better position with the only positive being that they are in contention for a wildcard spot.
If history has to suggest anything, it means that the Giants will lose. Despite a tight win in Week 12 where the NY-based side bested the Eagles 13-7, historic data suggests otherwise. The Giants have not tasted victory in seven straight games against the Eagles in their home ground. In fact, it was back on Oct. 27, 2013, when the Giants won in Philadelphia thanks to a Josh Brown masterclass.
