The anxiety-inducing clash between two teams is proving to be theatrical. However, the Giants have problems of their own that they’d like to address prior to the game. Just 48 hours from playing the away fixture, the Giants are rocked by injuries. Giants’ chances are hampered by an ankle injury to running back Saquon Barkley. Despite the management calling it a minor tear during the Cardinals match, Barkley would be benched for the upcoming game. Additionally, left guard Ben Bredeson would be missing out on the game in lieu of a head injury and is down with a concussion.

Injuries don’t end here, though. The other LB Azeez Ojulari is also out from a hamstring injury. Though he participated in the limited practice sessions. It needs to be seen whether he’d be playing in the final team that takes on San Francisco. As far as the team’s offense is concerned, the WR Wan’Dale Robinson joined with limited participation. He has been a regular in the injury column for the side since the start of the 2023 season. Andrew Thomas is dealing with an injury. The offensive tackle pulled up his hamstring and his full participation in the clash is subject to his fitness. Despite the injuries, the rivalry between the two sides is a close one.
