Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Juju Smith-Schuster seems to be settling into his role on the team with Patrick Mahomes quite well. When asked about their offense on Sunday’s game, Smith-Schuster had a very interesting answer.

In their 44-23 win over the San Francisco 49ers, the wide receiver’s exceptional performance of 7 receptions and 124 yards alongside a touchdown was crucial.

When asked about quarterback Patrick Mahomes trusting him on-field and their chemistry for Sunday’s game, Smith-Schuster’s response was unexpected.

“It was me, Pat [Mahomes], Travis [Kelce] and MVS [Marquez Valdes-Scantling] we were playing Call of Duty together- we were playing warzone. And we played three games- we won three games back to back,” he said

Stating that it was really hard to win a warzone game he added, “You could just tell the communication between all of us and the chemistry was just like we were in the game.”

This was in relation to the drama surrounding Murray’s contract and the allegedly stipulated independent study of film during game weeks.
