Alvin Kamara had quite the season with New Orleans Saints in 2020. The experienced NFL running back finished the regular season with 932 rushing yards and a mammoth 16 rushing TDs as Sean Payton’s men won the NFC South, yet again.

However, they suffered a bitter defeat against the eventual Super Bowl LV champions, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, in the Divisional Round later. But Kamara will be pleased to step up his development as the Saints gear up for another title push in 2021.

In the meantime, Alvin Kamara is focusing on his off-field business ventures. Here’s his latest collaboration with NASCAR Xfinity Series racer Ryan Vargas ahead of Saturday’s race at the Daytona International Speedway Road Course.

Alvin Kamara teams up with JD Motorsports to sponsor Ryan Vargas

Saints RB Alvin Kamara serves as co-owner of The Big Squeezy chain, which has 9 locations throughout Louisiana. In partnership with JD Sports, Kamara’s The Big Squeezy juice bar chain will be the primary sponsor for the No. 6 Chevrolet car driven by Ryan Vargas in this weekend’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race.

“When this opportunity presented itself, I knew I couldn’t let it slip by. I did a bit of research on Ryan as an individual and JD Motorsports and was impressed with what I read. I’m excited to play a small role in what they already have going on,” Kamara said via The Athletic.

Meanwhile, Vargas himself was more than delighted to team up with one of the biggest names in the NFL. He said, “Having the opportunity to work with Alvin Kamara and The Big Squeezy is such a huge honor.

“As one of the best running backs in the game, I know Alvin puts 110% effort into everything he does and that can easily be said for myself and our No. 6 JD Motorsports team.”

Kamara, who became a NASCAR fan last season, has attended multiple races, but this will be his first time as a sponsor.
