“Don’t Worry Guys”: Gisele Bündchen Took Matters Into Her Own Hands After Tom Brady Received His Deflategate Suspension

Just like any other wife, Gisele Bündchen provided great emotional support to her quarterback husband, Tom Brady, when he was navigating through some rough patches in life. Even though Brady boasts a successful football career over the past two decades, he did face several setbacks. Back in 2015, the former Patriots quarterback underwent a four-game long suspension, and during that period, it was, Bündchen who had his back.

It was the first time since 2001 that Tom Brady couldn’t start a season for the New England Patriots. The then 39-year-old was accused of being involved in a deflate-gate incident and got suspended for the first four games. The first matchup against the Arizona Cardinals, won by the Patriots 23-21, witnessed an adorable moment between the power couple from the backyard of their home.

The quarterback was passing the balls to his supermodel wife, and an amazing photo of that day was posted by Bündchen on Instagram later on. “Don’t worry guys. I will keep him ready.” She wrote on the post.

The QB could’ve thrown an accurate, straightforward pass; however, he went for a bit twisted one, just like his wife, who never hesitates to take a stand for her husband and the team.

While Brady was still warming up for the fifth game, Jimmy Garoppolo was playing for the side. He took charge of the offensive unit, and guess what he didn’t fail to impress Belichick.

“I’m really just trying to focus on the things I can control and trying to stay in great shape and be prepared for when I get the opportunity to play in October,” Brady said in an interview while still under suspension. The scandal was reported to have happened during the AFC championship game in 2015.

The team’s locker room attendant Jim McNally released air from a set of footballs which helped the players receive the catches easily and release the ball quickly. After an investigation, Brady was alleged to have been involved, and he got suspended. The Patriots were fined $1 million and lost two draft picks.

When Gisele Bündchen wasn’t happy with Tom Brady

Over the last 13 years, there have been several instances when Bündchen supported Brady in his professional career. She sacrificed her modeling career to help her husband thrive and look after the family.

But a few years ago, the seven-time Super Bowl champion revealed that Bündchen wasn’t happy with him. The prime reason is his busy schedule and not spending time with the kids. “That was a big part of our marriage. I had to check myself because she was like, ‘I have goals and dreams, too. … So, you better start taking care of things at the house.’ “ Brady said in an interview.
