Recently, the NFLPA has put together its first-ever team report card. This was possible only because of the responses from 1300 NFL players this year. The report card is an evaluation of a team’s treatment of its players in all aspects. It comes as no surprise as the Baltimore Ravens received an F grade for its strength coaches. Considering the fact that their star QB Lamar Jackson has remained injury ridden throughout the 2022 season, maybe it’s an area that needs to be focused upon by the Ravens.

So what does the NFL world have to say about these reports? Do they feel it is justified?

In a recent YouTube video of the Pat McAfee show, they analyzed the report cards released by the NFLPA. The reports gave the Baltimore Ravens a straight F- for their strength coaches, placing them in the 32/32 ranking in this area. The Ravens actually struggled with injuries last season, as their star QB Lamar Jackson remained on the sidelines due to an injury he sustained during the 2022 season.

Fans have also backed these reports by the NFLPA, as they believe the ratings are justified. While we might consider the Ravens being one of the better teams in the NFL, they seriously lack in their strength training department.

One user commented on the video, “The Ravens getting an F- for their strength coaches sounds right for the amount of injuries they’ve had the past few seasons.”

Another user said, “As a Ravens fan, I’ve been constantly saying this for awhile now, they’re constantly injury ridden and need a change.”

Another user felt hopeful about the Ravens’ hire of a new strength coach and said, “Ravens did hire a new strength coach this off season so hopefully it improves”

This user hilariously said, “Ravens fan here, I too can say I tore an acl watching games because of the strength and conditioning coach!”

Another user commented, “We’d welcome Lamar Jackson as a Minnesota Viking with open arms. There’s no doubt he would be happy as a VIKING.”

All in all, the Ravens did actually bring in a replacement for their strength department. Only time will tell if this new hire will help improve the condition of the players and not have them be so injury prone.

Winds of change near the horizon

While the NFL world patiently waits for a final conclusive chapter to the whole Lamar Jackson fiasco, the most important priority for the QB at the moment is to be back at his full potential and strength. The 26-year-old is one of the best QBs in the game right now. He still has a lot to prove to fans if he is to be considered one of the greats in the NFL.
