Nearly Scary Scenes for Jalen Hurts During Softball Reminds Fans of Patrick Mahomes’ Flawless Greatness

All the players of the league have been doing something or the other to enjoy themselves during the off-season. Whether it’s long vacations or channeling their energy into another sport, fans have seen it all. Interestingly, last season’s Super Bowl competitors have been putting in time on the diamond field. That’s right, this off-season, both Patrick Mahomes as well as Jalen Hurts have taken to enjoying themselves while playing softball.

Interestingly, while they have both been photographed having a lot of fun, there was a moment of tension. This occurred when Hurts appeared to be injured during his game. With the video going viral, the first look of the injury did look a lot scarier than it actually might be.

During their enjoyable off-season, Hurts took to playing for the celebrity softball game started by Devonta Smith. After such a hard-fought season against the Chiefs, the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback definitely needed it. However, he pulled off a move that might have just scared every Philly fan as well as the Eagles organization. While he was running to capture one of the bases, the QB took a sudden slide that left his left leg with a burn.

The QB did not seem bothered by it at all. He simply got up and continued running to what looked like the dugout. He even hit the infamous Griddy while he was running.

Interestingly, Hurts is not the only Super Bowl QB who has been making some spectacular moves in a totally different sport. In fact, even Mahomes has been having some brilliant success in the world of softball.

While his Super Bowl adversary was busy scaring his own organization, Mahomes was busy balling out. He too was playing softball a few days before Jalen Hurts was seen playing. It seems like the master QB also inherited some of his father’s baseball genes. While playing in the Marquez Valdes-Scantling’s charity softball game, Mahomes showed his skills. He had spoken about how he would try and hit maybe 3 home runs while playing. And during game time, he easily proved his words wrong and went on to hit 6 softballs over the fence. He played a key role in helping his team get a win in the charity game.

All in all, both the QBs are having some fun and takin a breather from their hard weeks of OTAs and practices. It only remains to be seen how well both the QBs will play against each other when the time for the football season finally arrives.
