Tom Brady had a stellar career in the NFL. But it was not just because of his pinpoint accuracy in passes. Despite being a 7X SB champion, the NFL GOAT never was the highest-paid QB during his 23-season tenure in the NFL. And the reason behind this was to surround himself with capable teammates who could help him with his ambitions of adding more and more Lombardi trophies to his cabinet.

Amongst all the players Brady shared the field with, there was this one defensive giant who held the fortress for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when Brady led them to the SB champion in Super Bowl LV. And now, another former NFL player has come forward to talk about how he was almost physically crushed by this defensive beast for speaking up in favor of rival QB Aaron Rogers.

Ndamukong Suh is a defensive veteran with a lot of experience playing in the NFL. Drafted by the Detroit Lions in 2010, Suh went on to be a scary name as a defensive tackle, causing havoc for rival players playing against him on the field. And former LB Will Compton recalls once how he almost got crushed by the 6ft 4 inch, 313 lb DT.

During a recent episode of Bussin with the Boys, Compton talked about a particular incident he had with Ndamukong Suh. He recalled an event when Suh was with the Lions, where he stomped on Aaron Rodgers during an NFL game. Compton talked about how he brought it up with the 36-year-old DT while driving to the airport once. The LB said, “I was like, so you’re gonna say that the man upstairs what happened but you clearly stomped on 12.  And he was like well we can pull the car over now and I’ll stomp your a** out.” Compton further went on to state that the remark was clearly a joke and just “fun play.”

Suh does not place his faith in Aaron Rodgers and the Jets

Back in April, the 36-year-old free agent DT talked about how he still is looking to make a comeback to the league. He went on to talk about the Jets’ acquisition of the 4X MVP QB in the offseason. Ndamukong Suh wrote of the Jets as a potential landing spot for himself. And he further went on to talk about how the Jets still need major changes in order to be considered a Super Bowl-worthy team. The 36-year-old talked about his concerns with the Jets’ offense, and how it is a reason for him not looking to make a move to the Big Apple.
