The Deshaun Watson drama had all Cleveland supporters holding their breaths. It was a crucial time, and now most of Cleveland would be disappointed over the ruling. Even ex-Cavaliers Larry Nance Jr. voiced displeasure in the Cleveland Browns’ comments over QB Deshaun Watson’s sentence and fine.

NBA’s Nance Jr. reacted to the Browns’ remark on Twitter. Co-owners Jimmy and Dee Haslam cited on the announcement of Deshaun’s suspension. He made a three-word reaction over the 11-game banishment and $5 million punishment that links to various claims of misconduct against the QB.

Larry Nance Jr., the NBA player, grew up in a Cleveland neighborhood and has always embraced all Cleveland sports teams, such as the Browns. Despite being traded off by the Cavaliers, the big man remains active in the local community. Moreover, his brief statement shows that his trust in the Browns’ administration can come into question in the future.

The QB’s previous antics have remained an origin of contention in Cleveland since the Browns got him in March. The natives have embraced Deshaun Watson as their new quarterback. However, others have expressed outrage at the team’s acquisition of the disputed signal caller.

As per Adam Schefter, the NFL and the NFL Players Association struck an agreement in the Deshaun Watson disciplinary case on Thursday. After the initial six-game ban, they are settling on an 11-game sentence for the Cleveland Browns QB. Watson will also pay a $5 million fine which would go to charity, as well as deal with a mandated assessment by behavioral specialists and follow their recommended treatment regimen. While they have not yet finalized the agreement, they have already negotiated it.

As per ESPN, Watson’s penalty shall be effective on August 30, when NFL teams reduce their rosters to 53 athletes. It will entitle him to reinstatement on November 28 and play for the Browns again in Week 13. His regular season debut will take place when Cleveland is on the road to battle his former team, the Houston Texans.
