The long-running debate of ‘Who is better: Patrick Mahomes or Aaron Rodgers?’ has not settled yet. Many people have expressed their opinions on this question. Even the NBA superstar Kevin Durant hoped on the train to give his two cents.

In a tweet shared by KD, he chose his likeability towards Aaron Rodgers, the quarterback for Green Bay Packers over the hype and popularity around Patrick Mahomes, the quarterback for Kansas City Chiefs.

Who is better: Patrick Mahomes or Aaron Rodgers?
This is a tricky question to answer as both the star quarterbacks are at different periods of their careers. One is a 26-year-old who has already won a Super Bowl and the other, even though, 38 years old has done the same (along with four NFL MVP Awards). Any team would power up if they added one of these majestic quarterbacks to their rosters.

ESPN held a poll with over fifty NFL coaches, players, and executives to choose their favorite top ten players. Aaron Rodgers topped the list, while Patrick Mahomes stood second. The factor of age is important here. As Rodgers is 38 years old, he will probably contemplate retirement. However, Mahomes, being a younger guy, has more to his game. Therefore, many would choose the Grim Reaper for the long term. Also, comparing both the quarterbacks’ earlier stats and achievements could lead to the answer to the debate.

Both quarterbacks have something in common, and that is the absence of their respective star wide receivers of their teams. Las Vegas Raiders acquired Davante Adams and Tyreek Hill was traded to the Miami Dolphins. Without their wide receivers, this could prove to be the greatest test to evaluate who is the better quarterback amongst these two.
