In a viral recent Instagram video showcasing his off-season workout, Chubb showed his remarkable athletic prowess as he prepares for yet another grueling season. He had an outstanding performance last year where he rushed for a career-best 1,525 yards and secured a spot in the Pro Bowl. Now, Chubb showed his extraordinary strength by effortlessly squatting what appears to be around 700 pounds for multiple repetitions. What truly astounds is his utilization of the “Tsunami Bar,” which intensifies the challenge due to its bending nature, demanding exceptional balance to maintain control.

Now, the famous NBA star Shaquille O’Neal has re-shared Chubb’s incredible video on his Instagram. He was amazed by how effortlessly Chubb executed his squats. It’s worth noting that the ‘Inside the NBA’ star himself regularly posts inspiring workout videos on Instagram. Bold claims by Brown’s coach for the upcoming season

Chubb stands firmly as one of the top NFL runners, no doubt about it. His track record speaks for itself. After all, he has four consecutive 1,000-yard seasons, with three of those surpassing 1,200 yards and two even going beyond 1,400 yards. Consistency is his middle name – Chubb never averaged less than five yards per carry throughout his career. He even boasts an impressive average of 5.2 yards per carry. Touchdowns? He’s got plenty. A total of 48 touchdowns, to be exact, including a noteworthy 12 in the years 2020 and 2022. As anticipation builds for the upcoming season, Browns RB coach Stump Mitchell made quite a statement about Nick Chubb on ‘The Dawgs Podcast’.

“… And if we can improve upon that, I think he can probably lead the league in rushing. Even though those guys may have 100 more carries than he will, it doesn’t matter. If we can improve upon that, he can still lead the league in rushing because he’s averaging over 5.2 yards a carry. If we can improve upon that, he can average maybe six yards a carry, and he can lead the league in rushing. When I nitpick Nick, he understands there’s big yardage he left on the field.”

If Chubb can maintain an impressive six yards per carry and avoid fumbles in 2023, he will likely remain a top contender among the NFL’s rushing leaders, if not the best. However, regardless of his statistical performance, Chubb will always be cherished by fans of the Browns clan.
