The game has also caught the attention of NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal, who shared the news on his Instagram Story to spread the word, read: “Grambling State Tigers vs LSU 2023 TIGER STADIUM BATON ROUGE, LA. September 9. GUNAA has secured hotel rooms at a discounted rate of $189/night at the Courtyard Marriot and the Hampton Inn and Suites Downtown Baton Rouge. The game will take place at 6:30 pm on September 9, 2023, at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, LA.

Grambling: Where football legends begin

HBCU has dominated the Black College Football scene for decades, winning 15 national titles and 26 conference championships in the SWAC. Grambling’s success is largely attributed to the legendary Eddie Robinson, who coached the G-Men for 56 years and racked up 408 wins.
