Aaron Rodgers enjoys playing golf, and he proved this by competing at the American Century Championship, held at Edgewood Golf Club near Lake Tahoe, for the last several years. This year too, Aaron Rodgers would be there to show off his golf skills, but it comes with a twist this time. The twist is that his man bun is at stake, all thanks to a bet with NBA legend Charles Barkley.

Aaron Rodgers has a bet with NBA legend Charles Barkley that he will let him cut his man bun if Barkley finishes ahead of him. But from where did it all start? Recently Rodgers and Barkley appeared at Reno, Nevada to promote the American Century Championship. There Barkley joked about Rodger’s hairstyle, which led to this wager.

Barkley said“Just because you’re too cheap to cut your hair, you can’t make it a style. Man, here’s $25. Go down to Fantastic Sam’s and get that thing cut off the back of your head. Just because you don’t cut your hair, that’s not a style. But Aaron’s a much better golfer than me, but I’ll be happy to give a donation to his charity.”

The Green Bay Packers star quarterback will receive a new hairdo before the preseason begins if Barkley finishes ahead of Rodgers. However, if Rodgers triumphs, Barkley will donate $25,000 to the Chico, California-based North Valley Community Foundation. It is the same foundation, to which Rodgers donated $1 million to establish NVCF’s Aaron Rodgers Small Business COVID-19 Fund.

Rodgers must not be under pressure as he has finished top-20 in the American Century Championship in the last five years. Also, if we talk about Barkley, he is always spotted at the bottom of the league. Last year, Barkley finished 76th out of the 88 golfers who took part in the league.
