After retiring from the NBA in 2011, Shaquille O’Neal‘s larger-than-life personality only grew stronger. He embraced a new chapter in entertainment, from hosting TV shows to starring in comedy movies. The 7 feet giant never disappoints when it comes to the audience’s entertainment, and he always sticks to his words. It has only been a few months after his daring bet that made headlines all over the world.
Shaq had made a bet with Ernie Johnson Jr. that the TCU Horned Frogs Football will either beat the latter’s former team, the University of Georgia, or he will eat a horned frog on TV. Although the bet seemed really silly, Shaq kept his word and ate a frog on national TV right after TCU’s defeat.

Keeping aside the big dogs, Shaq has always been fascinated by college football. Also, there have been only a few teams he has rooted for in the past. So, it’s definitely not that easy to impress the NBA legend. However, a video from the distant past made Shaq nostalgic, as he shared it on his Instagram story. The video features Malcolm Kelly freestyle rapping after his win against the Nebraska Cornhuskers in the championship final.

The video was posted on Instagram with a caption that read, “Never forget this legendary freestyle“. Malcolm Kelly was only 19 years old at that time, and he was rewarded the MVP after the team’s win in the finals. It is still regarded as one of the best Big-12 championship games in the history of college football. After almost 17 years from the night of the championship, Kelly’s freestyle video was circulated online, and Shaq could not help himself from sharing it on his Instagram story.
