Cowboys‘ executive Stephen Jones said they have a plan to extend their QB Dak Prescott’s contract in February. Recently, when asked about it, considering recent deals of Lamar Jackson and Jalen Hurts, Prescott said he trusts the team and his agent to handle it. He’s focused on improving his performance and analyzing his interceptions from last season. Furthermore, the Cowboys have actively pursued a “new star” from the Houston Texans who share Dak’s passion and his ‘born leadership’ ability.

Prescott successfully guided the Cowboys to win two more division championships and was selected to participate in the Pro Bowl on two occasions. In 2022, he received the prestigious Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award.
