According to the New York Post, Aaron Rodgers shared that his past use of psychedelic substances had a positive impact on his mental health and contributed to his “best season” in the NFL. In an interview on the Aubrey Marcus Podcast, the Green Bay Packers quarterback, aged 39, revealed that his experience with ayahuasca, a psychoactive tea containing the hallucinogenic medicine DMT, helped him develop a sense of unconditional self-love.

He recounted a transformative trip he took with race car driver Danica Patrick in Peru, where he learned the importance of self-love. Patrick and Rodgers were in a relationship for two years before announcing their breakup in July 2020. Rodgers later got engaged to Shailene Woodley, but they also ended their relationship on February 16, 2022.
