Detroit Lions vs Pittsburgh Steelers was easily one of the best matches of the NFL week 10. But for not the right reasons. This game has become a cult classic among fans because of the high numbers of memes it gave us.

Detroit was looking for a victory to finally break their 8 game losing streak. The Steelers were expecting a dominating win. Both of their plans did not go as expected.

The Lions had an opportunity to put it away and seal the deal. When they attempted a very easy field goal from 48 yards, everyone believed maybe they would get a win, finally. But Ryan Santoso could not deliver when the team needed it the most. The field goal was an embarrassing miss. The ball alongside the hopes of Lions’ fans swirled down. It was a painful game for both sides.

Pittsburgh Steelers’ Najee Harris unclear on NFL rules

The Pittsburgh Steelers rookie running back gave a decent performance against Detroit last Sunday. He tried to do his best. Steelers number 22 was on the bench when the overtime ended. Harris was ready to play another quarter in his mind until he was told that this was it. It’s a tie. The game between the Lions and Steelers ended with a score of 16-16with nothing to separate both sides.

The journalists interviewed Najee Harris after the game. In the interview, he said, “I didn’t even know you could tie in the NFL. In my mind, I was sitting on the bench saying, ‘I’ve got another quarter to go'” Harris adds, “But someone came to me and said, ‘that’s it.’ I’ve never had a tie in my life before.”

The Steelers and the Lions have to be equal in every way on Sunday, it seemed. Because not only did they the tied game, but the Lions running back Godwin Igwebuike was not aware of this rule either.

“It’s nuts,” said Igwebuike, “I’m back there like, ‘Yo, how many overtimes can we do?’ And they’re like, ‘Three’ … I hear, ‘Two, one,’ and we were like, ‘Yo, whatever’s going on, we’re about to just put our all into it.'”

The fans were not happy about the players’ lack of knowledge about the game. Some started blaming the education system. If the players do not even know the rules of the game, how are they even allowed to play? It seems like the content for memes did not end with the match. Even the post-match interviews continue to entertain everyone.
