It was inevitable that the Philadelphia Eagles would make a bold move in the linebacker position. With the addition of two experienced free agents to the lineup, Jalen Hurts, now a $255 million player, not only claims the title of the highest-paid NFL player but also solidifies his status as one of the most formidable QBs this season.

Furthermore, the Eagles’ overhang linebacker, Patrick Johnson, suffered a concerning lower-body injury and was carted off the practice field at the NovaCare Complex on Friday. However, with the strategic roster adjustments on Sunday, the team is poised to address a few gaps in their lineup effectively.

The Philadelphia Eagles have kept the momentum going, making strategic roster moves at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday. Notably, NFL reporter Ian Rapoport shared the news via Twitter, stating, “The #Eagles have agreed to terms with former #Steelers LB Myles Jack and former #Titans LB Zach Cunningham, giving both one-year deals.” Both players showcased their skills during workouts with the Eagles, and it seems that their performances impressed enough to secure offers from the team.

Adding to the mix, the Eagles welcomed offensive lineman Josh Andrews, who began his career as an undrafted free agent in 2014 from Oregon State. His return to Philadelphia marks the continuation of his journey. To accommodate these additions, the Eagles made room by releasing linebacker Davion Taylor and waiving-injured receiver Charleston Rambo.
