Myles Garrett, the star defensive end of the Cleveland Browns, has been a slayer on the field, posing a challenge for everyone who lines up against him. Garrett is a nightmare for opposing quarterbacks, and he never forgets to have his share of fun by digging up ‘quarterback graves’ both on and off the field.
Garrett has established himself as one of the top defensive players in the NFL, and now he can add another accolade to his resume. Since he is the only Browns player to receive a 99 rating in Madden in the three decades, the game has been a part of video game and NFL culture.

Garrett, who began the season as the highest-rated defensive end in the game, had his status change this week. Garrett’s rise in the NFL and Madden has been comparable, with him starting as the 83rd overall pick as a rookie in Madden 18. In Madden 19, he was upgraded to an 88, a 91 in Madden 20, and a 93 to begin last season’s game.

If it does, then Garrett will be the first defensive end/outside linebacker to start the season at marked 99 since Chicago Bears LB Khalil Mack in Madden 20.
