He suffered shoulder and bicep injuries, as well as a burst blood vessel in his left eye. Garrett is already out of the hospital. But it was unclear whether he would be able to face the Falcons. That is until the Browns officially confirmed the news.

Did over-speeding cause the crash?

According to Ian Rapoport, the Browns have decided to play Sunday night football without Myles Garrett.

On Monday, Myles Garrett and his female acquaintance were involved in a terrible vehicle accident. The Ohio State Highway Patrol determined that there was no evidence of alcohol or drug impairment as the cause of the collision. The hazardous speed was mentioned as the cause of the cash. Garrett lost control of his Porsche while going 65 in a 45. His automobile skidded off the road and overturned multiple times. The picture of his distorted car went viral on social media after the accident.

This Browns’ all-pro defensive player has been pulled over seven times before for speeding. Though Garrett told the press on Friday that the accident was a “call for me to be more safe with my driving,” only time will tell whether he is going to be true to his words.

The Browns must meet the Falcons without Myles Garrett

In the Friday press conference, Garrett seemed eager to play the ball on Sunday. Garrett has already missed a week of practice. So it appears the medical staff has opted to place him on injured reserve for the time being. According to True Media, Myles Garrett led the NFL with 5.5 sacks in 2.5 seconds or fewer last season.

Myles Garrett, a three-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro, has established himself as one of the league’s finest defensive players with 60.5 career sacks. This incident did not result in any life-threatening injuries to him. But just some time away from the field! The Browns will probably go with Jadeveon Clowney against the Falcons, but it is an immense loss for the NFL world to not have Garrett on the field.
