The former Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and his journey to the top wasn’t as pleasing as it seems. He had his fair share of setbacks. Especially winning seven titles throughout this period is an incredible achievement. All thanks to his Deflategate incident from 2015, where the veteran was infamously accused of cheating by deliberately deflating footballs ahead of the game. He was under the public radar soon for being involved in a case that ultimately affected the result of a Super Bowl game.

The quarterback later got suspended for the first two games of the 2017 season. It was the same time when Galynn Brady was diagnosed with breast cancer and myeloma.

“My mom was about ready to start chemotherapy,” Brady said about his conditions at home. “I think, personally, it was very difficult for her to see her son kind of raked through the coals like I was, so we all wanted to really support her,” he explained in the seventh episode of ESPN’s Man in the Arena.
