The divorce of Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen has shaken fans all over. Following the split, their net and assets were divided, totaling $770 million. Aside from their professional activities, Bündchen has a non-profit organization that works for the welfare of others. Her dedication to the foundation was evident when she talked about it.

Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady rose to fame after their struggles became public. Following a chain of incidents, the couple filed for divorce in October. Bündchen visited Costa Rica after their separation while Brady was between NFL games. Their split puts a question mark on the charity foundation that the supermodel established.

Back in 2015, Gisele Bündchen spoke about the foundation with the Sydney Morning Herald. She mentioned, “My life is devoted to this. I know from the outside that people think, ‘This girl just poses for pictures.’ But in my head, I’m thinking the whole time, ‘Okay, if I take this job, then I can have more money to put into this [project].’ So that’s what I’m doing.”

The Luz Foundation is a charitable trust devoted to humanistic, academic, and biological causes. Gisele Bündchen founded the non-profit institution in 2007. The supermodel also created the Luz Alliance Fund in association with the BrazilFoundation. It will provide humanitarian global epidemic relief to Brazilian households.

Gisele Bündchen was a big name due to her environmental sustainability works. She had a noble cause in mind while forming the non-profit initiative. However, some records state the situations showcase a different scenario.

According to the New York Post, Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen’s Luz Foundation dispersed $640,402 to multiple companies between 2007 and 2019. The amount is .00008 percent of the former couple’s combined net worth. Tax filings reveal the organization funded $25,000 to the David Lynch Foundation in 2017. They also donated $25,000 to You Go Girl Yoga that year.

The foundation gave $300 to Waterkeeper Nicoya Peninsula in 2018. They also made a $900 donation to the World Wildlife Fund and a $1,000 donation to the Challenged Athletes Foundation. Additionally, the Luz Foundation donated $80,000 of its $350,000 budget to the Pointing Out the Great Way Foundation in 2019. Most contributions from Bündchen’s non-profit organization proceeded to the yoga and meditation clusters. Safe to say, the amount might look surprising.

It remains to be seen what happens to the former couple’s non-profit organization after their divorce.
