The Green Bay Packers are all set to host their divisional rivals, the Minnesota Vikings, on Sunday. The game is a must win for the Packer Nation, as their play-offs hopes rely on it. However, leading up to the match, there was an enormous concern regarding the availability of star QB Aaron Rodgers. The 39-year-old is supposedly struggling with a knee injury. It forced him to miss the Wednesday practice as well. But now things are looking up for the reigning MVP.

On Thursday, the former Super Bowl champion participated in the training. Even though the player remained limited in his physical drills, it seems that he is feeling good about his body. On Friday, the player took full participation in the team session and is now expected to start for them on Sunday.

A-Rod has even highlighted the significance of the game while praising the Vikings for their 12-3 record for the season. “They’ve (Vikings) had an amazing record, 11-0 in one score games,” explained Rodgers. “You win those games you’re going to be playoff bound. Struggle or break even and you are going to be, you know, struggling or find yourself at home in January.”

But after their victory over the Miami Dolphins, the 4 time MVP feels more confident about their chances. According to Rodgers, the Green and Golden went in to that match as the underdogs against a good team. Packers defeated the Fins by 26-20, which kept their slim playoff chances alive.

The team from Wisconsin is currently 7-8 for the season. Nonetheless, they are still hanging on to the dream of making it to the postseason. While going into the final two weeks of the season, the team needs to win out in order to have any possible scenario taking them through.

On the other hand, Christian Watson, the second leading receiver for the organization with 496 yards and 7 TDs, is questionable for the upcoming game. “I’ve been feeling better and better each day,” Watson added. “It’s obviously something that I’ve got to take day to day and just hoping I continue to take strides and hopefully I can cut loose on game day.”
