Deshaun Watson opened his regular-season comeback against his former team. The Browns also made a big sweep over the Texans. However, there are rumblings over Watson’s plays. The QB1 is coming off a hiatus, but his in-game productivity did not impress everyone. One of his plays is getting harsh criticism from the NFL universe.

In the Texans-Browns game, Deshaun Watson nearly fumbled while attempting to throw the ball. A Texans player scooped up the ball and scored. However, the officials determined Watson’s arm was shifting forward when the ball left his hand. They overturned the touchdown, and the Browns maintained their 7-5 lead at halftime.
NFL Insider Dov Kleiman shared the clip of how he threw the ball backward after feeling the pressure. The Texans also could not challenge the call since the time was under two minutes. The Browns were struggling but managed to pick a sweep over the Texans.
Deshaun Watson threw the football backwards after getting pressured, it was ruled a fumble on the field that was return for a touchdown to give the #Texans the lead.

Deshaun Watson completed 12 of 22 passes for 131 yards and no touchdowns. He also gained 21 yards from running.
Fans booed Deshaun Watson over the play
The NRG Stadium was only half-packed. However, the fans were roaring throughout the game in Week 13. The stadium hosted the return of Deshaun Watson after a long hiatus. But the quarterback seemed to be struggling with his performance in the game. Watson might be ecstatic to return, but the fans are not. The fans roundly booed Watson before every Browns snap.

During the post-game media presser, Deshaun Watson addressed the hate from the Houston fans. He mentioned, “They’re supposed to boo. I’m a Cleveland Brown now, and we’re on the road, so they’re supposed to boo.”

The Browns are still struggling despite having Watson in the center. It is yet to see if the QB1 will make any progress in the upcoming games.
