The Washington Commanders face a big bump after some criminals gun down the franchise’s rookie RB. Brian Robinson became a subject of apparent carjacking or robbery, and they shot him multiple times at the scene. The officials brought Robinson to a medical facility after the attack with non-life-threatening injuries and he is now out of danger.

Around 6 p.m. on Sunday, police in Washington, D.C discovered a shooting in the 1000 block of H Street NE. The robbers had shot RB Robinson twice in the lower body. As of this reporting, the former Alabama star’s condition is stable. The Washington Commanders put up a statement after the attack on the athlete and sought some privacy at the moment. They posted the statement on the team’s official Twitter account.

As per The Washington Post, Police are investigating whether the event was a burglary or an attempted carjacking. They stated they found a handgun about a block south of the shooting scene. Moreover, the officials are on the lookout for two juveniles with shoulder-length dreadlocks.
The Washington Commanders grabbed the former Alabama standout in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft. The franchise expected him to play a critical role in the offense, as Robinson stood out during training camp and exhibition games.

Coach Ron Rivera was among the Commanders’ representatives who went to the hospital on Sunday night. He stated the RB is in excellent spirits and thanked everybody for their supportive comments, thoughts, and encouragement. Moreover, Robinson wants his colleagues to know that he respects their efforts, and loves them all. The RB will be back soon to do what he does best.

According to The Guardian, team co-owners Dan and Tanya Snyder, President Jason Wright, squad physician Dr. Anthony Casolaro, and clinical psychologist Dr. Barbara Roberts accompanied Robinson to the hospital. The athlete is out of any danger. However, his return is entirely subject to witness. Unfortunately, as the regular season begins soon, the Washington Commanders would miss out on a crucial man in the run division.
